Xinjiang: China’s Wild Wild West Photography Workshop Announcement – May 2014

It is with great pleasure that I publicly announce that I will be leading the Xinjiang: China’s Wild Wild West photography expedition in May  2014.

So come and photograph Xinjiang: China’s Wild Wild West with me on this very exciting 11 day / 10 night photography expedition.

Departing on the 17th of May 2014 and finishing on the 27th of May this trip will commence in  Urumqi, Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region, China  and will be taking in the very best of Xinjiang  before finishing in Urumqi.

This expedition will see the very best landscapes Xinjiang has to offer and has been structured to provide the best possible photographic opportunities.

Xinjiang-May-2014

During May we’ll get the best balance of weather that Spring has to offer. There will still be snow falling at the highest peaks on the Tian Shan Mountain range and we’ll be able to experience warmer temperatures of Turpan.

As part of this 11 day/10 night workshop starting from Urumqi, we’ll travel by 4WD taking in the amazing Yardang landscape of Weurhe Ghost City, the stunning colourful layers of the Rainbow City, the vivid red Flaming Mountains and its desert oasis, the Mysterious Grand Canyon and we’ll head to the celestial Heavenly Lake high in the Tian Shan mountains,  all whilst taking in the amazing cultural diversity offered by Western China.

If you like the idea of photographing the amazing landscapes of Western China,  if visiting remote wilderness locations in China’s Wild Wild West  rarely visited by international tourists excites and you the thought of going without ‘western’ food for 11 days doesn’t phase you,  then please register your interest through my contact page or email me directly at antony@antonywatson.com.

Places are limited and are on a first come first served basis.
